There can be lots of questions when booking a photo shoot, so I’ve listed some common FAQ’s below.
What To Wear?
I always recommend that you wear something classic, comfortable and simple, so that your pictures don’t date. Brands, patterns and motifs go in and out of fashion often so please bear this in mind when choosing your outfit. Wearing colours that coordinate will always look best – if one outfit stands out from the others they will stand out in your portraits too. If you’re unsure what to wear, or on the other hand have a specific style you would like to discuss please get in touch and I will be happy to help advise.
How Long Will The Appointment Last?
I like to ensure that your shoot is relaxed and not rushed so allow approximately 30 mins – 1 hour.
Newborn sessions are 2-3 hours.
When Will We See Our Images?
Following your photo shoot your images will be edited and appointment arranged for you to return to view and order your photographs.
What Payment Is Accepted?
Payment can be made by Cash, Card or Bank Transfer. Please note a minimum 50% deposit is taken on ordering your photos and full payment is required before or on collection of your order.
How Long Will My Order Take?
Orders are usually completed within 2 weeks of your photo shoot however this can vary. If you need your photographs for a specific date please let me know when you arrange your appointment.
How Much Will It Cost?
How much you spend is in your control. A studio sitting is £49. Digital images are available from £40.
Standard additional print prices are:
6×4- £12.50
7×5-£15.00
8×6- £17.50
10×8 -£22.50
12×8-£27.50
12×10-£32.50
I provide a full wall art service, with specialist framing, fine art prints, stretched canvas.
Montages start from £145 unframed and £290 framed

Do You Offer a Maternity and Newborn Package?
A Watch Them Grow package can be used at any stage from maternity, newborn up to their first birthday shoot. The newborn shoot allows 2-3 hours and takes as long as needed for Mum & Baby to be comfortable and settled.
Please note, newborn photo shoots are usually taken between 6-21 days after birth for best results. Appointments will be accepted after but results can vary.
I have a Newborn Photo Shoot Booked, What If My Baby is Due a Nap Or Feed?
Your baby is the star of the shoot and their comfort is my priority at all times. If your baby is due a feed, fast asleep, needs a nappy change or simply won’t settle, none of this is a problem. When photographing newborns there is no pressure I want the session to be an enjoyable and memorable occasion.
Can I Bring Pets?
For many people pets are part of the family so are most welcome for photo shoots. Please do let me know when booking your appointment if you wish to bring your pet with you. This is so that I can ensure the studio is set up appropriately and time is allowed for cleaning.
